Celebrating National Hair Day With Ellips
I have always had very long hair, even as a little girl. It has always been my pride, who I am as a person. It made me feel like a princess as a little girl, and when I became a mommy I became a queen to my bonus daughter. All she wanted was to have long hair like me, and that just made it extra special. But with long hair comes a lot of hair maintenance. My hair is very dry and brittle and I have had to use a large variety of hair products to treat it, keep it from breaking and to keep it healthy. I’ve used all kinds of different hair products and honestly struggled to find something that truly works! I tried the cheaper retail options as well as the very expensive salon options to no avail. I eventually just gave up looking and accepted my hair’s fate as it is. A few months ago I was introduced to the Ellips hair range and at first I was very sceptical, because I believed I’ve tried it all already, but I was pleasantly surprised! Who or what is Ellips and what makes them so special ?

This one is at the top of my list, because it is INCREDIBLE! It is by far my favorite Ellips product, and for good reason too! The Ellips Milkshake is a leave-in conditioner that contains both milk and wheat protein, along with Pro-Vitamin B5, and it offers a range of benefits to nourish and treat damaged hair.
What we love about the Milkshake Conditioner:
- It is the BEST Detangler I have ever come across!! Because I have dry, brittle hair it easily gets all knotty at the back and it’s usually such a mission to get the knots out. The milkshake spray has been such a huge life saver! Even my boy wont allow me to comb his hair without spraying his (well actually mine, but we are not allowed to say that out loud) “pink spray” on!
- It is suitable for use on kids!
I never thought that I’d have to “fight” with my boy about hair products, but he absolutely loves the milkshake conditioner! He calls it his pink spray and I am not allowed to touch his hair without spraying some of it on first. It has helped a great deal to avoid tears in the morning since it gently detangles and leaves the hair not only shiny, but also helps it to stay tangle-free!
- The milkshake Conditioner also adds texture to my fine, brittle hair so I love using it before I style my hair.
- It smells amazing!
- A little goes a long way
I have been using their milkshake Conditioner for almost 4 months now daily on my long hair as well as my boy’s hair and we are about half way through our bottle!

- The Hair Treatment Capsules
The hair treatment capsules comes in at a very close second for me!
The treatment capsules come in different colors for different types of hair which includes damaged hair, coloured hair, frizzy and fine hair, dry and brittle hair and thick or dark hair. I personally alternate between the pink, yellow and orange ones for my hair and it has worked wonders!
Pink Hair Repair:

Orange Hair Vitality
The orange hair vitality capsules are formulated to restore strength and vitality to hair that has become dry and brittle. The replenishing properties of Ginseng and Honey help prevent breakages and actively reinforce hair structure.

All you have to do is lightly towel dry your hair, pop open one of the capsules, and apply to your hair. You don’t have to rinse it off and can continue to style it as you normally would! I love products that are convenient to use and can easily fit into your morning or night time routine!
- A little goes a long way
Once again! When I saw the size of the little capsules I were a little worried that I would need more than 1 capsule for my very long hair, but 1 was more than enough even for my long hair! I dont wash my hair every single night so I used around 2 capsules a week, which makes for an extremely affordable hair treatment!
- Shiny hair that smells amazing
I love how the capsules left my hair feeling soft, easy to manage and shiny! My hair looks like completely different hair after I apply the capsules and once again the capsules smells amazing!
